If you got 1 hour of free time when you are in Tokyo, it will be nice to visit park for chilling. You can easily go seeing Japanese garden in some places.
Shinjuku Gyoen
This is the most famous park in Shinjuku. There are 2 European gardens and 1 Japanese garden. People can enjoy flours and landscape in each four seasons.

Rikugien
It was opened as a park in 1938 and designated a Special Place of Scenic Beauty in 1953. There is a teahouse in the park where you can eat Japanese raw sweets which are served with powdered green tea.

Inogashira Park
It takes 5 minutes walk from Kichijoji station to the park. At this park, you can row a boat on pond at center of the park. When you are tired of walking, there are chairs around the pond to have a rest.

Showa Commemorative National Government Park
This is the largest park that I introduce this time. The size of the park is more than 1.6km2 and there are about 10 gardens. You can rent a bicycle and go around the park.

Odaiba Marine Park
As you can see, since it is close to a port, the view is fascinating including Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Tower. It is nice to see at daytime too but night is the best.
