Do you like to drink Japanese Sake? If you do, it will be a great experience that to know how these Sake are made. There are over 1,400 brewery in Japan. Here are recommended Sake breweries that you can visit in one day!

Ozawa Brewery


It takes about 1h30 from Shinjuku by train. Usually, at these breweries, you can visit inside the warehouse and the water well which is used for making Sake. Also, you can have a Sake testing here.

Yokota Brewery

About 1h30min from Ikebukuro by train. This brewery was built between Tone river and Ara river. So, they can use the spring water for making Sake! From middle of December to end of February is the season of making a new Sake. You might able to taste brand new Sake, if you visit during these period!

Matsuoka Brewery


It takes about an hour by train to reach at this brewery. It is able to reserve on the day you visit! There is a festival every year on last Sunday in February that you can drink freshly made new Sake.

Izumibashi Brewery


By taking 50 minutes from Shinjuku by train, you can visit the brewery. This brewery starts making Sake from cultivation of rice. There are not so many brewery makes Sake like this. Also, the contents of guidance will change every season(summer and winter).

Kankiku Brewery

1h45min from Shinjuku by train. This brewery has a long experience that it begun to make Sake from 1883. Also, they are making craft beer and it tastes good too!
